V. Let us pray for Leo XIV, our Pope.
R. May the Lord preserve him, and give him life, and make him blessed upon the
earth, and deliver him not up to the will of his enemies.
Our Father. Hail Mary.
O God, shepherd and ruler of all the faithful,
look favorably on your servant Leo XIV,
whom you have set at the head of your Church as her shepherd;
grant, we pray, that by word and example
he may be of service to those over whom he presides
so that, together with the flock entrusted to his care,
he may come to everlasting life.

Many thanks for this prayer for Pope Leo XIV. Let us pray and entrust him to the Lord, that as the Successor of Peter, he will lead with the powerful guidance of the Holy Spirit; and looking to him as our father, and shepherd, we, his spiritual children, his flock will unite with him, support him, love him and be loyal to him. Pope Leo appears to be serious in his enormous task, serious in his love for Christ and His Church, desiring unity amongst all peoples, and all peoples united as one with God. Thanks to God Who has given us this New Vicar of Christ.
