I’m very excited to be in Irondale, Alabama to appear tonight on EWTN Live with Fr Mitch Pacwa SJ to discuss Fr Doyle’s life and example. Archbishop Eamon Martin is Archbishop of Armagh, the Primate of All Ireland, and the President of the Irish Bishops Conference. EWTN’s Bravery Under Fire will be screened in the Vatican tomorrow at 15.00. Please pray for the success of this event, and in particular that it will create more awareness about Fr Doyle’s life and spirit.
Campbell Miller, the director of the excellent Bravery Under Fire, presented a copy of the DVD to Pope Francis during his audience today. Bravery Under Fire will be screened in the Vatican this coming Friday at 15.00. Campbell describes his work in the docudrama:

The Vatican cinema will host a screening of the EWTN docudrama Bravery Under Fire next Friday afternoon. It will be screened to an audience of senior clergy and others. This is an important development, and will bring Fr Doyle’s life and example to a new, and very important, audience. I will be travelling to Rome myself for the event. I am extremely happy to announce that To Raise the Fallen will be published later this autumn (or fall, for our American readers) by Ignatius Press. This will allow many more people to learn about Fr Doyle, and hopefully increase devotion to him. Fr Doyle was once known around the world, particularly in the United States.
