15 years ago today the website fatherdoyle.com was started with the simple aim of fostering devotion to Fr Willie by posting a daily quote from Fr Willie, and comment to contextualise it. At the time there was no certainty about how long the project would last.
Praise God, 15 years later that simple blog has developed into the Father Willie Doyle Association, and ultimately into Fr Willie’s canonisation cause. Who knows what the next 15 years will bring. Let us hope and pray that it will see Fr Willie much further down the road towards canonisation, and that many graces will result from all of this.
Thank you all for your support, encouragement and prayers over the last 15 years. And please accept our apologies for the inevitable mistakes we have made along the way.
One thing the last 15 years has taught us – Fr Willie is deeply loved, and the example of his heroic holiness is producing many fruits.
If you want to give Fr Willie a gift on this anniversary, please pray for us and for Fr Willie’s canonisation. Pray for miracles and healings through Fr Willie’s intercession. Please report any healings or favours received.
One special way you can help is to organise a talk about Fr Willie in your parish or local area. These events are a great help in promoting Fr Willie’s cause, and in raising the funds needed to keep the effort going. All you need to do is find the location and we will provide you with the materials needed to pr0mote the event locally. We will travel anywhere in Ireland and, with a little more planning, we will also happily travel abroad for events as well. Reach out to us on info@williedoyle.org and we can take it from there.
Thank you for your prayers and support over the years!

I continue to draw insight from this blog, I am reminded of Father Doyle when I read of the Priests being killed in Africa currently. Both accepted that their vocation may lead to death, how unlike so many of the clergy currently in Europe and the United States.
Congratulations to Dr. Kenny, and all who have and still do help with this wonderful site. It is a great thing that you are doing, making Father Willie Doyle better known and loved. Surely he is blessing you and your work.
God bless you, and keep up the praiseworthy work- for the glory of God, and for the cause of this incredible chaplain who served his God, country, and fellow soldiers with such selflessness, and such loyalty.
